    • For the women, there are groups that play on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, as well as a Monday evening town league
    Men's Leagues

Sign-up sheets are on the bulletin board at CCW. Sign-ups are on a first come first served basis for full-members only and will be cut off when an even number of teams are selected to ensure proper slotting. Ideally, we will need 18 or 20 two person teams for each league. All you need to do is call the pro shop and tell them your name and handicap and they will add you to the list. You do not need to physically be there to sign up. New members are welcome. Teams are selected by a random draw, with consideration for handicaps, at least two weeks before the season starts.

The season runs from about the third week of April through the last week of August. The last week or two of the season, depending upon how many teams are formed, will be considered position nights, where teams in contention for the top six positions will play head to head to try to improve their position. (1 vs. 2, 3 vs. 4, 5 vs. 6)  The remaining teams will be in a “rock pile” and play for a separate set of prizes.

There is usually a very robust substitute list available. League players are allowed to substitute any time for either one or both players, until two weeks before the position nights. Two weeks before, and during, the position nights, teams may not substitute for both players. Only one substitute will be allowed in those weeks. During position weeks only, substitutes must be within five strokes of substituted player’s handicap.

    Women's League
The ladies of CCW strive to provide opportunities to play golf for women of all ages and abilities. From spring through fall, there are monthly weekend tournament with different formats each time. CCW has also fielded a team for the WMGA’s Spring League as well as inter-club tournaments with other local courses.

For casual play, our Tuesday morning league sees various 9 or 18 hole formats each week. Need a little competition? Join the Wednesday night 9-hole league. The format is Individual Net Stableford. Players are paired up by the golf shop for a 5:00pm shotgun start.   Points are accumulated throughout the season. Players usually join each other for dinner in the clubhouse following play.

To accommodate more levels of play, CCW has created a set of forward tees in front of the red tee boxes which have been used by senior women, less experienced women, and young golfers.

    Silver Knights

First on the course in the spring, last off the course in the fall. The senior men of CCW, known as the Silver Knights, are a group of men that combine their love of golf while making it enjoyable. Gathering Wednesday mornings, all retired men, regardless of membership type or handicap level, are invited to join for a day of golf and camaraderie.

The Silver Knights face off against other area clubs’ senior groups in several home and away matches over the season. On weeks without inter-club matches, various formats are used and players can tee off from the gold or white tees in 18 hole competitions. Special events are also scheduled throughout the season, such as a day with our lady members and a rocking chair event.

    Friday Night Coed

The Friday night coed league is a great opportunity for a male/female team to compete and have fun on Friday evenings. The league is a great way for new members to meet others they might not normally see on the course.

Twelve weeks of play are scheduled, but a team only needs to attend six of the twelve in order to qualify for prizes. Each week, teams will play against the field to earn points that are accumulated for end of the year prizes. The number of points available each week is based on the number of teams that signed up.

To keep the league fun and interesting, a different format is used each week. It is encouraged that teams do not play with the same team each week, and players enjoy having dinner together after golf.
